Problem

Code 7 Talent Solutions is a sales-and-CS recruiting practice. Their bottleneck wasn't open roles — it was capturing candidate stories at the speed candidates wanted to share them. People want to start a conversation at 11pm on a Sunday. A traditional recruiter team can't be there. Candidates also hated traditional resume-drop flows: blast and pray, then disappear into a black hole.

What we built

We built the AI infrastructure that the firm runs on. A site-wide chat agent and SMS line capture candidate stories conversationally — 24/7, in under five minutes, no resume or cover letter required. The agent learns role, level, goals, working style. Every conversation lands in the firm's matching workspace where a senior recruiter reviews and decides who to introduce. No automated rejections, no resume blasts — when there's a real match in the employer network, a human makes the warm intro. The stack: Vercel AI SDK + GPT-4o-mini, structured profile extraction, Twilio SMS, custom matching tooling.

Outcome

Candidates stay in the network permanently — no re-applying, no expiration. The firm captures stories overnight and weekends without an after-hours recruiter on call. Every match decision still belongs to a human, but the qualifier work that used to fill a recruiter's morning is done by the time they sit down with coffee.

I am building this because I want people to get a great job in the era of AI. We are building something different — a company that invests in humans by seeing them for who they are beyond a PDF.
